From 1 July 2006, Teddy and Friends became part of the Cooee Brands group of companies which continues to provide a varied range of products of exceptional quality and excellent prices.

Starting life as one retail store in 1982, it grew to 20 outlets across Australia. In 1989 the company was purchased by Citer Souvenirs and it became a purely wholesale operation which has developed throughout the 1990s.

In 2004 the company was purchased by a dynamic and astute group of business people, headed by Neil Cope, who are committed to ensuring that Teddy & Friends is a market leader in the plush and gifting industry.

Teddy & Friends supplies over two thousand shops Australia wide and it continues to expand its international market both close to home, in New Zealand and Asia, and further a field.
